I have had periodontal problems over the past year, and this product was recommended to me by my periodontist. I have had an Oral B for years, but I was getting stains on my teeth between cleanings. I purchased the Philips Sonicare FlexCare Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush with Sanitizer since this is the model my periodontist suggested. (They liked the idea of the UV Sanitizer). I bought it immediately after my last cleaning to see if it would keep my teeth clean. It has worked really well, and I haven’t felt the need to use extra whiteners, since my teeth are whiter also. I do use the clean mode most of the time, but I have also used the massage mode occasionally at night to get the extra gum stimulation. I am very happy with this product. It is worth the money for me, my teeth feel really clean all day.
